Description
Throat Chakra or Vishuddhi is the 5th prime chakra as per the tradition of Hindu tantra. The inhabiting deity of this vishuddhi or chakra is Panchavaktra Shiva, which has 4 arms, 5 heads, and however, the Shakti is Shakini. The throat Vishuddha is placed at the region of the throat, close to the spine, having its superficial activation peak or Kshetram in the throat pit. Because of the way it is positioned, it is well known as Throat Chakra.

Hindu tradition states that the chakra is depicted as comprising a white color as well as sixteen smoke-colored or purple petals. The Pericarp features a sky-blue triangle pointing downwards and containing a spherical white area that resembles the full moon. The factor of aether or akasha is being represented here. This section is symbolized by the Ambara deity, which also features a white color and is portrayed with 4 arms, holding a goad as well as a noose. He creates the signals of granting dispelling fear and boons while seated on an elephant with white color. The silver falcate is the astral sign of nada, pure celestial sound. The falcate is representative of cleanliness, and cleanliness is an essential attribute of Vishuddha Chakra.

The 16 smoke-colored petals on Vishuddha have the 16 vowels of Sanskrit written on them with golden color: ? a? ?? i? ?? u? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? e? ai? o? au?? ??? ?. These petals match up to the mantra Ong Vittis (Aum), nectar Amrita, Namak, Swaha, Swadha, Washat, Phat, mantras Hung, Sama-mantras, and the 7 musical tones.
